James Blessington lives and works in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and writes mostly fiction. He’s currently submitting a new novel manuscript to literary agents.

His writing has been published in Projected Letters, Main Street Rag, Milwaukee Magazine, and more. He was also awarded a Wisconsin Arts Board Literary Fellowship.

Lifelong Wisconsinite, he’s read some of his work at the Wisconsin Book Festival, Woodland Pattern, UWM’s Edith S. Hefter Conference Center, and People’s Books Cooperative.
